Accessibility
Accessibility statement.
Our commitment
We want Open Balance to be usable by as many people as possible. We build to WCAG 2.1 Level AA as our baseline and test with assistive technology throughout development. This statement applies to this website and will apply to the application itself.
What we do
- Semantic HTML with landmark regions and ARIA labels where they add value
- Skip-to-content link on every page
- Colour contrast ratios that meet or exceed WCAG AA minimums
- Focus indicators visible on every interactive element
- Responsive layout that works at 320 px width and up
- Respects
prefers-reduced-motionby disabling animations - Scalable text using relative units throughout
Known limitations
Some parts of the site have known limitations we're working to address:
- The projected-balance chart on the homepage is an inline SVG with a text description. A full table equivalent of the same data isn't yet available.
